David introduces Kiro, an agentic IDE

Kiro is my favorite IDE for serious development work. It uses spec-based development to make sure the coding agent builds what I want, the way I want it, and stays on track.

In this video you can see the kind of stuff I have on my desk at work, and you can see my pet rabbits! The story behind the construction equipment on my desk and sandbox comes from 20 years ago when my parents visited me in Seattle and I showed them the Amazon office. My mom saw a coworker's rock garden on his desk, so she filed that away, and later sent me a sandbox kit with toys I played with as a kid. Thanks mom!
